Carrying the Torch

Concise, elegant, and beautifully executed in etched glass – either blue or clear – these two panels are superb examples of Moderne design with a strong graphic appeal. A native of Tennessee, Ivan Rigby moved East as a young man to attend the Maryland Institute of Art, and taught for many years at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. There he won the Rowena Reed Kostellow Award.
